PAUL HART - PHOTOGRAPHER

Paul Hart is a retired Canadian who has been living in Ajijic, on the shores of Lake Chapala, Mexico for many years, seven as a snowbird and as a permanent resident since 2008. Photography has been a hobby all his life. He has won or has placed in several
photo contests and has had many photos used as cover shots for local magazines.

Paul combines his love of nature, hiking, bird watching and travel with photography and has invested in professional level equipment. In December 2010 he participated in a seven day intensive bird photography workshop held in Belize/Guatamala with professional nature photographer Jon Friedman.

In addition to frequent trips around Lake Chapala, Paul has taken several birding/photography excursions throughout Mexico including El Tuito, San Sebastian del Oeste, Patzcuaro, the Colima Volcano and the El Triunfo Cloud Forest Biosphere Reserve in the southern state of Chiapas.

Since 2011 Paul has volunteered as official photographer for the Feria Maestros Del Arte
expanding his subject matter to include Mexican Folk Art, people and Cultural Events.
Paul's work is on permanent display in Studio 18 Art Gallery, Colon # 18, Ajijic and as a
member of ASA he participates in several of the local art shows and events.
